The then editor had a particular fondness for writing from Eastern Europe, which so far has produced three titles from the famed Bulgarian writer, Zdravka Evtimova. Much of the original impetus of Skrev has become redundant given the ease by which new writers can promote work electronically. The press has been very much overtaken by new technology. This is no bad thing.
is very much an administrator of existing titles. It does still bring out a few new titles a year, but it is not actively seeking authors. Its main function is to promote and digitalise the back stock, whilst being a repository for the unpublished work of the late Daithidh MacEochaidh.
